What feels like punishment is often times preparation
Many of the heroes in the Bible felt rejection and discouragement. In those waiting seasons where they felt forgotten, God was training them for something far bigger than themselves. Through their faith and obedience He was able to use them to do mighty things for His Kingdom.
God never changes and is still in the business of using all things for good for those who love Him. Don’t lose faith in the unseen. Trust He is working all things out in His timing.
In the waiting we get to seek, ask and praise Him on behalf of our children.
We seek Him rather than try to control…
“I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.”
Psalms 34:4
We ask Him for wisdom to encourage…
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
James 1:5
We praise Him for all He is doing …
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ.”
Philippians 4:6-7
