Memory Verse

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Isaiah 41:10

Did you know that the Bible says “do not be afraid” 365 times? God knows we need to hear those words every single day. He also knows that there will always be something we fear, but over and over He reminds us that He is with us.

Never feeling fear is not the goal. The goal is  learning to not let fear control our actions and our thoughts.  It takes practice! God does not want us to feel alone in our worry but desires that we come to Him first.

Memorizing scripture that reminds you God is with you and He is for you is one of the best ways to overcome fear. When your mind is reminded of this truth, you are better equipped to do all things like you are doing them for Him and not for the approval of others.

What is something you fear?

Pick out one verse and commit to memorizing it as the scripture you will go to in moments of fear and worry.
