A prayer for your athlete to be freed from the fear of failure…
Father, I pray that (___) would be freed from any fear of failure. That he/she would “seek You, and You answer him/her, and You would deliver him/her from all his/her fears. “Those who look to You are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.” Psalms 34:4-5
May he/she play with a freedom knowing “You use all things for good for those who love You.” Romans 8:28 Help him/her see that failures are some of the greatest times for the growth he/she needs to fulfill the purposes You have for him/her. I ask that every fear and failure would point him/her to You to help build his/her faith and grow patience in the process.
In Jesus’ name, I pray.
